These terms govern your use of ARGUS (“the service”), a wallet-screening tool operated for people who want to understand the transaction history behind a TRON or EVM address before acting on it. By using the service, you agree to the terms below.
1. What the service is
ARGUS analyses publicly available blockchain data and published sanctions lists to produce a risk assessment for a wallet address. It reports the observable history of funds that reached that address on a public ledger.
ARGUS is not a compliance programme, a licensed financial service, or a substitute for legal, financial or investment advice. A risk score is an input to your own decision-making, not a determination of fact about who controls an address or what they intended.
2. Accounts and access
- A single screening check per day is available without an account.
- Paid tiers require a valid method of payment and are billed as described at the time of purchase.
- You are responsible for activity that occurs through your API key or account credentials.
- We may suspend access used to abuse, scrape beyond documented rate limits, or resell the service without a commercial agreement.
3. Accuracy and limitations
Blockchain analysis involves inference from incomplete public data. Attribution of an address to a category of entity (exchange, mixer, darknet market, and so on) reflects our methodology’s current confidence, not a certified fact. We work to keep sanctions data current, but there is always a lag between a list being published and it being reflected here — treat time-sensitive decisions accordingly and confirm directly against the primary source when it matters.
The service is provided as is and as available, without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of accuracy, merchantability, or fitness for a particular purpose.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to use ARGUS to:
- Harass, defame, or make public accusations against a named individual on the basis of a score alone.
- Circumvent rate limits or access controls, or resell raw output as a competing data feed without a commercial agreement.
- Attempt to reverse-engineer the scoring methodology for the purpose of evading detection.
- Submit automated queries at a volume inconsistent with your plan’s documented limits.
5. Data
How we handle the addresses you check and any account information is described in the Privacy Policy, which is part of these terms.
6. Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, ARGUS and its operator are not liable for decisions made on the basis of a report — including a decision to accept, refuse, or freeze funds — nor for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the service. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the amount you paid for the service in the twelve months preceding the claim.
7. Changes
We may update these terms as the service changes. Material changes will be reflected by updating the date at the top of this page. Continued use after a change constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
